AX15 approaches the loudspeaker as a spatial object rather than a static box placed on a surface. While conventional systems depend on stands or furniture, positioning itself becomes the core design element in AX15.
The project began with the observation that height and orientation significantly influence sound perception, yet remain largely fixed in most products. AX15 integrates these variables directly into its structural concept.
The central element is the suspension. The cable performs multiple functions simultaneously: it supports the speaker, enables smooth height adjustment, and transfers electrical power. Separate brackets, stands, and additional components are eliminated. The construction is reduced to a continuous system in which structure and function are inseparable.
By suspending the speaker freely, AX15 achieves visual lightness and reduces its physical presence within the space. Direct contact with furniture or floors is avoided, minimizing unwanted vibrations. The design follows a principle of integration, where each element fulfills more than one role.
AX15 operates between product design and spatial design. Sound is treated not as a fixed output but as a spatial presence. The combination of suspension, mechanics, and power transmission defines a distinct loudspeaker typology, reduced to its essentials and driven by functional clarity.
